Trans-ducere

This folder is more of a process.
I was thinking about translation and how one navigates e)motions through different art forms.
This class quickly brought me back to words, after so long. I had. chosen to speak music
instead. So I tried,
to bend words, to break them apart and look inside for something I can recognize.
Then words became stitches and translation soon meant new instruments.
It meant passing a guitar to my mother and together trying to speak a new language.
It meant going back to relationships and fragile acts of intimate care.

It means trans-ducere, to help us get to the other side.



About me:

I am Alessandra Indino, a musician and anthropologist. I am never sure about what to say in this case. Who says what counts?I like to work on sound art installations, participatory art projects and ethnomusicology. I also like to walk, to plant oak seeds wherever I go and my grandma’s secret pasta recipe.

Not really active on social media, but I’d love to connect with the wonderful people and
